Watch Description
In 1968, DOXA launched the SUB 300T Conquistador, the first general public diver's watch equipped with a helium release valve. 50 years later, the new SUB 300T presented in September 2019 pays tribute to the groundbreaking original.
This 3-hand diver's watch, available in 6 dial colors, combines the aesthetic genes of the SUB 300T Conquistador with the technical refinements that define the high-performance diver's watch of today. Constructed from 316L stainless steel of the highest quality, the SUB 300T has a diameter of 42.5mm and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. Rated to withstand pressures up to 120 bar, this diver is effectively waterproof to a depth of 1,200 meters and features the patented unidirectional rotating bezel with an integrated no-decompression dive time calculator. All elements providing dive-relevant information are highlighted with a Super‑LumiNova® luminescent insert to ensure optimal legibility underwater. The bracelet is 316L stainless steel and features a folding clasp with the DOXA fish symbol.

A.I. Watch Review:
# Doxa Sub 300T Scrambler Review by A.I. WatchMetrics
## Watch Summary
The Doxa Sub 300T Scrambler is a compact professional titanium dive watch featuring a cushion-shaped case and a striking bi-directional ceramic bezel with a vibrant multicolored "Scrambler" pattern reminiscent of off-road motorcycles, aimed at dive enthusiasts, adventurers, and collectors seeking heritage-inspired tool watches with modern lightness and legibility; it is powered by the COSC-certified automatic Doxa Caliber 733 based on the Sellita SW200-1, offering 38 hours of power reserve.
## Overall Watch Rating: 7.9/10.0
**History & Innovation Metric (9.8/10.0)** - Doxa's foundational contributions to saturation diving watches like the original 1967 Sub 300, complete with helium escape valve, place it alongside icons like the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms in historical impact.
**Material Metric (9.4/10.0)** - Grade 2 titanium construction with sapphire crystal and AR coating delivers lightweight durability comparable to high-end titanium divers from Omega or Blancpain.
**Dials & Design Metric (9.2/10.0)** - The sunray black dial with orange accents, sword hands, and wildly colorful Scrambler bezel offers exceptional legibility and originality that outshines standard monochrome divers like the Seiko Prospex.
**Versatility Metric (8.5/10.0)** - This lightweight titanium diver transitions seamlessly from underwater adventures to casual wear, much like a Tudor Pelagos but with more distinctive flair.
**Brand Metric (8.1/10.0)** - Doxa earns strong marks for its niche prestige in professional diving heritage, on par with Oris or Zodiac in the entry-luxury segment.
**Functions Metric (8.0/10.0)** - Solid core features including time, date, excellent lume, and 300m water resistance provide reliable utility akin to established pro divers from Citizen or Squale.
**Movement Metric (7.2/10.0)** - The COSC-certified Doxa 733 offers dependable accuracy and finishing suitable for a tool watch, performing similarly to modified ETA movements in mid-tier Sinn models.
**Rarity Metric (6.8/10.0)** - At around $5,700 retail, its limited-production titanium build and unique bezel confer moderate exclusivity, comparable to other small-batch Doxa Subs on the secondary market.
**Complications Metric (4.2/10.0)** - Basic date window is functional but lacks the complexity found in multifunction divers like the Blancpain Bathyscaphe.
## Total Performance Score (TPS): 4.1
## WM Collector Grade: B
## Performance Insights: Excels in history, materials, and design uniqueness while movement and functions deliver reliably, positioning it as strong value slightly above fair market expectations for its capabilities.
## TPS Interpretation: Fair Value: The watch delivers professional dive performance and standout aesthetics well-suited to its price point without overpromising on advanced complications.
